Art’s Way Opening Grain Auger Plant

Art’s Way Manufacturing Co., Armstrong, IA, said it will open a new location in Salem, SD to produce grain augers. Salem, the same city where the now defunct Feterl Manufacturing was located, offers the company an already skilled in grain auger production workforce. Feterl shut its doors last October and has several pending lawsuits against the company’s management.

Art’s Way has rented a 15,000 square-foot facility in Salem that is already open and shipping parts. The company says it has received positive feedback from nearly half of the 277 Feterl dealers, who have expressed interest in doing business with Art’s Way for parts and whole goods.
