ASABE Revises Standard On Standby Electric Power For Farms
The American Society of Agricultural and Biological Engineers (ASABE) revised its standard on standby electric power for farms. The new document, ANSI/ASAE EP364.4, Installation and Maintenance of Farm Standby Electric Power, includes updated reference information as noted in the most recent periodic review of the document.
The document, which provides information to assist installers, maintenance personnel, operators and others in the proper installation, operation, and maintenance of farm standby electrical systems, was last revised in 2006.
ASABE members with standards access and those with site-license privileges can access the full-text of the standard by electronic download at elibrary.asabe.org. Others can obtain a copy for a fee directly from the library or by contacting ASABE headquarters at martin@asabe.org.
