Daugherty Companies Acquires Assets of Alliance Group Technologies

The Daugherty Companies, Inc., Warren, IN, announced the acquisition of the assets of Alliance Group Technologies Co.- Kokomo, Inc. Alliance is a 20-year-old ISO9001:2008 registered contract manufacturer located in the Grissom Aeroplex near Peru, IN. They are manufacturers of specialized electronic products including quick-turn production level circuit boards, box builds and custom test equipment.

David L. Daugherty, President of The Daugherty Companies said, “As agricultural equipment moves toward more electronic controls and wireless technology, it is only fitting that we expand into the electronic manufacturing business.”

The Peru production facility, renamed Alliance Group Technologies, Division of The Daugherty Companies, Inc., will remain in the same location with key employees continuing to work for the new company. Although it will be a new corporate entity, Daugherty said, “It is important that we continue to serve the existing Alliance customer base while exploring new potential in agricultural and other markets. This move will bring new opportunities to our Warren facility as well since many of the current Alliance customers are users of specialty wiring harnesses.”
