Peterman Power Equipment in Carlisle, PA has joined the Messick’s family of dealerships effective March 1, 2012. The full-line Kubota dealership becomes the fifth Central Pennsylvania location for Messick’s, the family-owned agricultural, construction and lawn and garden equipment dealer group.

Finton Equipment will be closing its doors in Coshocton, OH. The business was sold to JD Equipment of London, OH who plan to open a Zanesville store under the JD Equipment banner March 19. The prior owners told local media that the decision to close the location in Coshocton was made by John Deere, not JD Equipment.

Titan Machinery Inc. has announced that it has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Haberer’s Implement, Inc., a Case-IH brand agriculture equipment dealership located in Bowdle, South Dakota. The acquisition is expected to close on or around March 31, 2012. Haberer’s Implement generated revenue of $5 million.

P. Tuckwell Ltd and JE Buckle Ltd of East Anglia, England, have announced an agreement for the acquisition of Buckle’s trading area and assets by P. Tuckwell Ltd. It seems the Deere consolidations are not limited to North America.
