Dealers Report Optimism For 2010
Farm Equipment magazine (from Lessiter Publications) will report in its October-
November issue that 57.7% of farm equipment dealers are projecting 2010 revenues to be “as good or better” than 2009. The data is the result of a survey of more than 300 farm equipment dealer surveys. This issue will be distributed to all FEMA and FEWA-AIMRA members at the Fall Convention in Atlanta.
Kubota dealers are reported to be the most optimistic of all major line dealers. Of the products expected to see the greatest rise in sales are GPS systems, SP Sprayers and Rectangular Balers.
The magazine also reports that 34.1% of the dealerships expect to add service techs to their staffs this year and an additional 17% expect to add to their sales staff.
