Farm Progress: New Broadcast Unit

Farm Progress Companies recently announced the addition of a new broadcast business unit providing radio, television and enhanced web programming for the agricultural market.

Ag broadcast journalist Max Armstrong joins Farm Progress in a full-time position as Director of Broadcasting. He is cofounder and cohost of This Week In AgriBusiness, an informative, regularly-viewed show on the popular RFD-TV satellite channel carried on DirecTV, DISH Network and local cable systems.

Armstrong will continue his This Week In AgriBusiness show co-hosted with Orion Samuelson and will also continue to host a Saturday morning show on WGN radio.

Farm Progress’ new broadcast unit will be an important information resource for producers and empowers ag marketers with multiple new and highly synergistic producer-reach tools, the company said. The broadcast offering includes syndicated radio, television and web programming, enhanced show marketing opportunities and additional producer-reach enhancements.
