Farmers Consistent on Why They Switch Brands

Every three years since 2011, Ag Equipment Intelligence and Farm Equipment magazine have polled farmers about why they would move away from their favorite brand of equipment.
Over that seven-year span, the top six reasons have remained intact, although their order shuffled.

In 2017, the top six, in order, were:

• Better product engineering.
• Better parts availability.
• Better dealer repair/service.
• Product specialists at dealership.
• Lower equipment invoice price.
• Better manufacturer warranty.
