Help Wanted: Engineer

A Member is looking for an Engineer. This position is required for projects that conceptualize, design, and implements new products as well as existing product modifications to increase revenue and market share, with the responsibility to solve problems based upon experience and mechanical engineering principles. The team member accomplishes their goals by utilizing pertinent data from customer contact, marketing direction, manufacturing capability, tooling design, outside sourcing and product testing. In addition to developing physical prototypes the Engineer is required to use CAD/Inventor tools to design and prototype products.

Duties & Responsibilities: Research material and component technologies to scope development opportunities. Develop new products and improve existing products, which includes designing, drafting, prototyping, testing, engineering documentation creation and plant system implementation. Participate in cross-functional project teams by drafting robust project plans as well as assisting with project management duties and foster collaborative relationships within cross-functional teams. Develop test methods to verify designs and accomplish project goals. Perform dimensional and performance evaluations of company’s and competitor products. Assist manufacturing as necessary to resolve product issues and provide technical guidance to team members in terms of product based decisions.
