Ben C. Overholser, who owned Superior Implement and Supply Co. (SISCO) in Greenville, Ohio, died in May. He was 58.
Overholser, a member of FFA while a student at Greenville High School, started working for SISCO during his senior year. His work quickly became his passion, and in 2005, he and his wife Gail purchased the company, which his obituary characterized as a fulfillment of his life’s dream.
SISCO is a member of the Equipment Marketing & Distribution Association (EMDA).
Gail Overholser survives her husband, as do a son, siblings and other loved ones.
Stephen Jay White, president of White’s Inc., in Houston, and its third generation of leadership, died in March. He was 66.
White was an avid hunter and fishermen. He also was passionate about driving and enjoyed a long stint as a Porsche driving instructor.
White was chairman of the Farm Equipment Wholesalers Association, which is today EMDA. The business remains an EMDA member.
