Lane Stays On With Deere

Deere & Co. said Robert Lane will remain as chairman of company’s board “for some period of time”, after stepping down as chief executive. Lane doesn’t intend to quickly relinquish the chairmanship of the company when Samuel Allen takes over as chief executive Aug. 1. How long Lane will stay on was not revealed.
