McCoy: Fall Convention Is More Than Just Another Meeting

With the Fall Convention just a short time away, I want to take the time to encourage those members who have yet to make the decision to register for the meeting to do so before early registration rates expire on October 1.

My company, Orthman Manufacturing Inc., has found that the Fall Convention offers the most economical way to do business and learn about pertinent subjects that impact agriculture today. It is for these reasons that we attend each year expecting not only to meet important industry contacts, but to walk away with knowledge we wouldn’t have if we didn’t attend this meeting.

If your company is a new member, you’ll find there’s no better place to begin your involvement in the Association than at the Fall Convention. This well attended meeting offers plenty of networking opportunities so that your company, as a new member, can introduce your products and/or services to a wide range of members.

The Fall Convention also features a full schedule from open to close, giving you increased value for your registration. On Saturday, we have one of our best lineups of speakers and sessions to date.

Here’s a look at what’s in store for registered attendees on Saturday’s program:

Saturday Morning – November 6
:

  • Don Reynolds — Tectonic Change…The New Normal
  • Robert Graboyes — Health Care Law’s Impact On Small Business

Saturday Afternoon – November 6:

  • Mike Senneff — CE Mark, What Manufacturers Need To Know
  • Tom Franzen — Health Care Reform Roundtable
  • Joe Schmitt — Protecting Your Company’s Online Reputation
  • Charles Glass — How Tractor Unit Forecasts Impact Shortline Forecasts

I look forward to seeing you in Dallas and I know that you won’t regret making the choice to attend this meeting. ◆
