During the Business Session on Friday, October 28, in addition to election of directors, Regular Members will be ask to approve a change to our bylaws involving our Supplier Associate Section. The change will allow the Association to reduce the number of bank accounts required, reducing costs while allowing the elected Supplier Section leadership control of the funds. The change is recommended by our Supplier Section Board of Governors and the Association’s Board of Directors.

Proposed Change: The Treasurer along with the Chairman, shall approve the dispersal of all funds of the Supplier Associate Membership.

The Treasurer shall review and report to the Supplier Associate Section Board of Governors, on not less than an annual basis, the status of the Section’s accounts, which shall be maintained by the Association staff, at the direction of the Treasurer, and shall be audited by the independent CPA selected by the Association.

The Treasurer shall be provided on an annual basis a copy of the Association’s annual audit and shall report the results of that audit to the Supplier Section Board of Governors at the next annual meeting. ◆
