Revised Standard On Ag Vent. Fans Will Boost Savings

ASABE has revised an existing standard on selecting energy efficient ventilation fans for agricultural use. Information in the newly published document, ASAE EP566.1, Guidelines for Selection of Energy Efficient Agricultural Ventilation Fans, will help lower agricultural production costs by increasing energy efficiency of agricultural ventilation fans. Data used for improving the effectiveness of the scope of this standard was obtained from the University of Illinois Bioenvironmental and Structural Systems Laboratory and other sources.
