Sharing Information with Members Can Get Complicated
Collecting information from publicly available sources and filtering that information into a quick-read format is what the Shortliner newsletter has done well for 68 years. For the vast majority of those years, the information we shared arrived via the U.S. Postal Service, printed on green paper, and in a green envelope.
Today, more than two-thirds of members receive the Shortliner via e-mail. Newsletter articles are not only available on computer screens and mobile devices but also searchable, archived and available worldwide, which, as of last Friday, offers some additional challenges. (More on that later.)

Membership and Product Directory—Our Association also collects and provides members with contact information on other members, the products they manufacturer, and the services they offer. All of this information arrives at the Association from member companies. We ask you to update the information annually as part of our production process for the directory, but you may review and update the information at any time. Just as with our newsletter, all of this information is also available to members in print and online. The 2018-19 directory was recently printed and mailed. If you have not received your copy or need additional copies, please contact our office. 314.878.2304 or email info@FarmEquip.org |

Ag Innovator Magazine—The Association’s quarterly magazine offers in-depth features on member companies and articles written by experts on topics relevant to the farm machinery industry. The magazine also allows space for our Supplier Associate Section members to purchase advertising space to promote their goods and services to shortline manufacturers. We know the majority of our member companies use all of the above resources on a regular basis, but we also know that the volume of information from a multitude of sources can seem overwhelming at times |

Members always have the option of receiving only the information you want in the format that best meets your needs. If you would like to change your subscriptions, or add someone new to your company, call us at 314.878.2304, or use our online subscription update at FarmEquip.org/Subscribe. |
The Association takes seriously the privacy of member data and how that information is shared. This was our practice long before last Friday, when the European Union started enforcing its newest regulations on internet privacy.
A copy of our privacy policy is posted on our website at FarmEquip.org/Privacy. You can also find resources there that may be useful if you have not updated your company website’s privacy policy.
