Sukup Sells its Implement Line

Sukup Manufacturing Co. of Sheffield, Iowa, has sold its implement line to Remlinger Mfg. Co., of Kalida, OH.

In a statement from Sukup, it said the sale was “just the type of transition Sukup hoped for” in seeking a buyer for its implement line. Both companies are family-owned, and Remlinger is committed to supporting Sukup’s past products.

“Sukup Manufacturing Co. has seen tremendous growth over the past 10 years or so, and we don’t plan to slow down,” said President Charles Sukup. “Passing the implement line into the hands of Remlinger will allow us to focus solely on our goal to protect and preserve the world’s grain supply and the equipment that produces it.”

The implement line includes grain drills, row crop cultivators, shredders, rotary cutters, food plot planters, seeders, grain carts, and rippers.

Remlinger Mfg. Co. President John Remlinger said the acquisition is a “tremendous opportunity for Remlinger Mfg. to further diversify our product line.” He also said the purchase will strengthen dealer relationships.
