Art’s Way Reports 27 Percent Sales Increase in Q3

Third quarter sales of agricultural products at Art’s Way Manufacturing increased by 26.9 percent compared to the same quarter last year. Year-to-date ag sales increased by 24 percent.

The company saw a 71 percent increase in grinder mixer sales compared to last fiscal year, a 60 percent increase in beet equipment sales, and a 13 percent rise in manure spreader sales for the year to date.

Art’s Way is seeing continued demand and reports a farm equipment backlog that is 269 percent higher than a year ago.

“Our team continues to show impressive execution despite the challenges of supply chain disruptions, shortages of skilled labor and inflationary pressures,” said President and CEO David King. “To address these ongoing issues, our team is working closely with suppliers to ensure delivery of critical parts, deploying industrial robots to alleviate labor shortages and implementing new pricing to offset escalating costs.”
