Neeralta Mfg. Celebrates 40 Years of Innovation and Excellence

Neeralta Manufacturing, founded by Bert Wierenga in 1984, recently celebrated 40 years in business with an anniversary event featuring tours and equipment demonstrations. Originally a one-man repair shop northwest of Edmonton, Alberta, Neeralta grew from custom farm repairs into a full-scale manufacturing operation focused on innovation and problem-solving.

Today, Bert’s sons, John and Rob, run the company, with John’s son Levi as operations manager and several more family members on the shop floor. Neeralta now employs 28 people, producing equipment like grain baggers, extractors, and truck loading augers, all designed for durability, speed, and efficiency.

“We’re just grateful for the community and for our staff and for all of our customers,” said John Wierenga, co-owner of Neeralta Manufacturing.
The company’s commitment to quality and loyalty to its staff and customers has been central to its success. Located amid Alberta’s farmland, Neeralta tests its machinery with local farmers, ensuring practical, reliable designs. This milestone highlights their ongoing dedication to innovation and strong community ties.
