Revenue Dips, Gross Profit Climbs at Buhler

Buhler Industries, which manufactures Versatile and Farm King equipment, reported revenue for its fourth quarter decreased by 8.5 percent from the prior year due to supply chain issues. Revenue for the twelve months of 2021 showed a 1.5 percent increase year-to-date.

Net income for the fourth quarter was $(0.7) compared to $(12.4) for the same period in 2020. For the year to date, the net income was $(0.4) compared to a loss of $(25.8) in the prior year.

The company stated that demand for products remains strong and it is working to increase production to meet the growing order backlog.

The company projects continued sales growth. Its sales backlog remains high as it works through supply chain challenges including raw material availability in ramping up production.
