On An Association Committee? Check Your Inbox
Because the pandemic kept us apart in 2020 and hampered our get-togethers in 2021, the Association’s committee work lost momentum.

Recently elected Association President Tim Burenga intends to focus on rebuilding that momentum.
“While the Board of Directors decides direction for the Association, it bases that direction largely on input from committees,” Burenga said in a recent email to members who are listed as serving on an Association committee.
He went on to invite committee members to renew their commitments or perhaps to opt for service on a different committee.
Please review and respond to that email. The first step to success in re-energizing the groups is to assure that every committee member wants to be there.
If you did not receive an email from Burenga, consider this your official invitation to get started in committee work!
Committees meet at conventions and likely will begin to hold occasional virtual meetings between conventions. They help the Association and Board of Directors make the best decisions for most members in these broad categories:
- Membership
- Education
- Communication
- Dealer Relations
- Convention
- Safety Standards
- International Trade
If you are interested in serving on one of those committees, contact Burenga at President@FarmEquip.org. If you have questions about the commitment or want to learn more, contact Matt Rice, the Association’s membership director, at Matt@FarmEquip.org.
