Lockdown in China Threatens Supply Chain
A 14-day lockdown has entered its second week in the Zhenhai district in China due to a rise in COVID-19 infections, writes S&P Global Platts.
The district is one of six urban districts below Ningbo, which has one of the world’s largest ports, raising concerns the already stressed supply chain may face more trouble.
China has a zero-tolerance COVID-19 policy. Several port areas around Ningbo were shut down in August after port workers were infected.
